Fishpond - Australia's Amazon??
Clicking around today led me to fishpond.com.au - they seem to be an Amazon type seller - new & used books, music and other stuff - except they're Australia & New Zealand based.
I've decided to sign up to be an affiliate seller - so if one of my blog readers follows the clicks and purchases a book I've recommended, then I receive a commission. I'm also an Amazon affiliate - but I get bugger all from this. Probably cause I don't blog enough and also cause I don't plug it enough.
Anway, 2011 is the year for growth (yeah baby!) so my aim will be to earn enough from affiliating (is that a word?) to fund both Critical Classroom blog and 'magazine' (first edition due out in a week). I'd love to make them both deadly.
I think I'll have to develop a set of affiliate rules for myself. I'm not going to recommend texts that I don't think will fit my audience. That said, I'm sure the rules will change as the game changes along the way.
